Hiya Folks! I think today we are going to talk about something special to Chinese movies, wire fu!
Wire fu is a style of martial arts where people are hooked to wires and do amazing stunts. On the screen you will have people flying when about to beat someone up. From the viewers point of view it either looks like the coolest thing in the world or the silliest.
One of the best examples of wire fu is in a movie called Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. This movies adds dramatic effect and magic realism by using green screen and wire fu. Take a peek at what we mean:
