Hello! I did a 40 min run today. The goal I am working on right now is building up my endurance. This is a bit of a challenge as it has been 2 years since I have run with any consistency and now I am attempting to run 10 miles in 3 months. That along with my strength training should help to make this process a fun time, not a health issue.
Along with the actual running update I wanted to share my plans for actual training. I have signed up to be coached as part of a running group. I decided after my last injury with running doing it on my own was unwise. Part of this program includes meeting with the coach, running plans, and nutrition plans. Last time I didn’t have the correct diet or the correct mentality going into this.
