Mission Skin Care

Mark does skin care

Hello friends! Long time no chat. I hope you all are doing well and everyone has been taking care of their selves. I have to admit I have been bad about self care recently.

To rectify that I have started some small projects (you know how I love them!) to help me along. The first thing I did was invest some time into my skin care. I know what you are thinking, “Your skin is perfect and felty, what do you need skin care for?”

I am so glad you asked! With the weather going from hot to bitter cold and my new adventures into pooling, my skin had begun to TEAR! The injustice of it all.

As many of you know I am a potions expert, so I decided to use that knowledge to help myself. With that in mind let me walk you through my program here. I decided simpler is better in this case.

Step 1: Shower! You have to be clean to make it work. Twice a week take the time to do an exfoliating shower. It makes you super itchy but once you do the rest of the steps it actually feels amazing. Once you wash, pat dry *no rubbing!

Step 1.5: Once a week add some body oil to the mix. Its extra moisture.

Step 2: Before you leave the bathroom do some face love. I like to clean my face in the shower and do moisturizing when I get out.

Step 3: Full body lotion! There are tons around, I use my own special puppet safe blend. Do everything but your hands and your toes and your face. Don’t forget your back. If you don’t have a buddy to help, do what you can.

Step 4: Now I use foot cream with aloe to do the next step, again felt safe. I take the lotion and give my feet a really good massage. I rub it on anything sore and make sure all the dry skin gets some tlc. I then put on some socks to lock the moisture in over night.

Step 5: Finally, I finish the treatment off with some basic hand lotion. My hands tend to get the brunt of the issues, a sad side effect of working in a potions lab.

I have been doing this for 2 weeks and I have seen a huge improvement. I have less little cuts and I don’t feel the dry skin cracking. For anyone suffering like I was I 1000% recommend.

Cheers!
